We are representing a global leader in the cryptocurrency space that is building institutional-grade infrastructure for digital asset trading. They are seeking a VP of Engineering to lead their core technology division and drive the next phase of their technical evolution.
Key Responsibilities
- Engineering Excellence: Drive a culture of high performance, engineering excellence, and continuous improvement across a distributed team of 100+ engineers.
- Technical Execution: Oversee the delivery of complex product initiatives, ensuring high availability, performance, and security of the platform.
- Infrastructure Management: Manage and optimize high-frequency trading infrastructure and digital asset custody solutions.
- Leadership & Mentorship: Lead, mentor, and grow a diverse engineering organization, focusing on leadership development and career progression.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product, Design, and Security teams to ensure a unified approach to building and launching new features.
What We’re Looking For
- Extensive experience in engineering leadership within a high-growth tech environment, preferably in FinTech or Crypto.
- Deep understanding of blockchain technology, digital assets, and high-frequency trading systems.
- Proven track record of leading and scaling large, distributed engineering organizations.
- Strong background in software architecture, security, and infrastructure.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with a focus on building inclusive and high-performing teams.
